Today I, for the first time, modified a chip. I removed the underclock of my nslu2 CPU speed to increase it to 266 mHZ (was underclocked to 133mHZ previously.)
I actually succeeded and did not destroy my nslu2. It booted right back up and running the command cat /proc/cpuinfo returned:
BogoMIPS : 263.78
Before I removed the transistor on the nslu2 it was like 132.x
I am just sort of proud of my self now. By the way, I removed the transistor with a pair of finger nail clippers (I would not recommened this to others).
