The other day when driving home from work the storm which included very heavy rain and extremely bright lighting was pretty much 100% blinding. In fact at times it was so bad I had no idea where I even was. I relied most of the time on the side things that wake truckers up if they start to sway off the road to know if I was even on the road or not.

Anyways, here is a pic of what the wind did in one town near me. It actually picked up a full size trampoline and threw it into a power line pole. You can see the wind blew it so hard that the impact wrapped the metal around the pole.

I was very surprised to log into BestBuy.com just two days after I bought my monitor and find they lowered the price by $40. Luckily at BestBuy you can get the difference back within 14 days of the purchase, so I got $40 back. That means I only spent $230 on the monitor. This sort of eases the pain of spending $100 more than I wanted in the first place.

Oh, and by the way this post is sort of a mark for my blog. This is my 100th post on this blog. Thank you to every one who has been reading my blog everyday and for those who post comments.

I have now worked at Taco Bell for a month (as of yesturday). Although I didn’t think I would last that long at all after the first few days, I now think I might be at Taco Bell for a while. It is now going pretty good now that I know what I am doing.

I’ve all ready received two paychecks and each one helps me to remind me that there is some good in it all. I spent a lot of the second check (the first full check) on a new monitor as my own personal reward. That monitor is shown in the last post.

After tomorrow I finally get another day off after working 25 hours in 3 days.

Today I spent $270 on a new Gateway Widescreen 19″ LCD Monitor. This replaces my old CRT 15″ piece of junk. Below are two pics of the monitor curtosy of BestBuy.com. I am very happy with this monitor and love the picture that it provides. The only difference from mine and the pictures below is the trim around the outside is black on mine.
