About the author.

Hello, my name is Jeremy Jefferson. I am currently a full-time student at ITT-Tech in Fort Wayne Indiana. I am 22 years old and live in Larwill, Indiana.

I graduated early from Whitko High School in 2005. In high school I was active in school publication. I worked on the yearbook all four years and also did the school website for a couple years.

Currently I am working towards a networking degree from ITT-Tech. My goal is to get a career in computer networking. Ideally I would love to get a job working as the IT administrator for a school.

Looks like I haven’t posted in a week. Really though, not much has happened in the last week, which is probably why I haven’t posted. Lately I have been working on my AntiAway.com site and started playing the game America’s Army.

As for the job hunt, still no results :(

In the past couple days my site has been attacked by spam bots trying to post spam to my site. In response to this I am now requiring every viewer who wants to post a comment to enter a captcha verification. This is a little image with a few numbers and letters in it.

The letters in this are case sensative, so be aware to this.

Thanks for all the users who post to my site.

I still have not received a call from any of the places I applied at. :(

Both of my eBay items did arrive today though. :)

I am sort of hoping one of the places I applied at will call me today. So far, nothing. If someone does, I’ll post it.

I am now delaying the opening of JJPOP till September 1st, 2006. This is still a tenative start date but I will really try to meet this date. In the rare case I do not switch servers, I might be able to finish it before then.

The delay is due to the lack of API functions that will exist on the new server that JJPOP’s current system is written around. In other words, I have to completely rewrite the backend to the JJPOP service, this will amount well to over 750 lines of coding that will have to be changed. Unfortunatly, the API made it easier to make the service, so the new scripts may contain well into the couple thousand lines of code.

Actually, at the moment, the service runs fine on the current server and can be used. In fact, a couple people are using it who have special permission. I just don’t want to open it now and have to close it back for a month or two later.

Anyways, I will aim to have that date listed above my goal. Of course, this is the 3rd time I think I have pushed it back…Hopefully, the last.
